Set up extra services to a building

Setting up extra services such as parking or storage space that you offer to your tenants.

With a few easy steps you can set up a list of extra services that are available in any of the buildings in your portfolio. These are the services that your tenants can request and you can activate in the corresponding  agreements.

You could rent out a specific unit in your portfolio as an extra service, such as parking space or storage space.

However, extra service does not have to be connected to specific object type. You could also offer a cleaning service for example.

In order to set up extra services for a specific building...

  1. open up Properties > Buildings from the left navigation menu
  2. select any of the buildings listed
  3. navigate to the Extra Services tab
  4. click on the Add New button on the top right corner to open up a new extra service form and fill in the following details
    1. Name - enter a name of your service in all the relevant languages. 
    2. Description - enter a description of your service in all the relevant languages.
    3. Icon - pick an icon that highlights the nature of the service the best
    4. Object type - if you would like to connect the extra service with a specific object type that you are renting out as a service, then choose the correct type from the dropdown. When activating the extra service in an agreement later on, you can pick a unit of that type from your portfolio, e.g Parking lot number 5.
    5. Service type - choose whether it is a recurring service that gets charged for every month (e.g parking) or there will be just a single payment (e.g one time cleaning). In both cases the corresponding extra service will be added to the upcoming monthly rent invoice(s).
    6. Price - add a price to your service 
    7. Contains VAT toggle - decide whether the entered price is with or without VAT
    8. Article - select a sales article that will be connected with the service and defines the tax rate
    9. Active toggle - decide whether the extra service is currently active or not
    10. Extra service visibility settings
      If you wish to limit the visibility of extra services in the Tenant App or on the listing application, please turn off the corresponding toggle. If all options are turned off, extra services will be visible and can be applied solely by the landlord.

      Listing application - if the extra service is visible in the listing application form.
      Tenant app - if the extra service is visible for the tenant in the Tenant app.
  5. click Save to save the extra service with the entered details

After you have added an extra service to your building, you can come back any time to edit the details, activate or deactivate it.
