In Bidrento, you have the possibility to turn on messaging functionality for service request related issues. This means that when a tenant reports about an issue via Tenant App, they as a tenant or you as a landlord can also use the chat functionality to contact them, in order to ask any question regarding the reported issue.

To activate the chat function, open up Tenant App settings.
In order to enable the service request chat, you have to have the general chat function enabled.

Once enabled, a new section in Messages will appear, which helps categorizes the general chats and service request chats for you.

You can also access the service request related chat in the Service requests section. When you open up a specific service request, you can switch between group chat and internal comments view. Group chat view enables you to chat with the tenant, and internal comments are only meant for the internal use in the system.

On the Tenant App, the tenant can access the service request related chat either under Messages or under the specific service request in the Maintenance section.
