Getting Started Manual: Setting up Bidrento Hotel PMS

In this article, you will receive step-by-step instructions on how to set up your initial environment and begin operating with Bidrento Hotel PMS.

  1. Create Your Business: To get started, you need to create your business profile. On a Business page, please provide your legal entity data, and don't forget to include the default currency. Please note that if you intend to integrate Bidrento Hotel with Booking.com as a sales channel, both Booking.com and Bidrento Hotel should use the same currency value.

  2. Configure Optional Settings: As the next optional step, you can customize your Invoice settings, Articles, and Payment settings. This allows you to tailor the appearance and data that guests will see on their invoices, set up accurate accounting articles, and define various payment options.

  3. Add Your Property: You must add your property to the system. Navigate to the Properties page and click the "+Add New Property" button. Ensure that you carefully fill in all fields, providing accurate descriptions and high-quality photos. These images and texts will be displayed on the booking engine and will be visible to potential guests. If you encounter difficulties obtaining latitude and longitude coordinates for your property, consider using an external service to acquire these values.

  4. Add Units: The next step is to add units to the system. A unit is considered a rentable space in Bidrento Hotel (e.g., apartment, room, cottage). You can add a unit by clicking the "+Add New Unit" button on the Units list page. The system will prompt you to input essential unit parameters and define property and accounting articles. You can also categorize units by specifying the Rental Type field (e.g., 1-bed room, 2-bed room, Suite, etc.).

    1. Amenities/Description: In this tab, you can provide unit descriptions in multiple languages, define amenities, and upload pictures.

    2. Rates: After filling in the Amenities/Description tab and clicking "Save and Next," the system will prompt you to create a rate for the unit. Specify the rate name and description. Daily rates can be defined on the same page using the calendar. Simply select the day or day range with your mouse and input the applicable day rate. Rates also can be changed on a Rates Calendar page. 

        Please note that you can leave the Rates tab empty if you plan to group units into Rental Types; in this case, Rental Types rates will be used for operations.
    3. To begin operations, it's essential to configure your sales channels. If you are using Booking.com as a sales channel, you can link it to your Bidrento Hotel account directly from the Booking.com integration page. Detailed instructions for this process are provided.

      Bidrento Hotel also offers the option to configure a personalized booking page that can be seamlessly embedded into your own domain.
    4. To set up your Booking page, start by enabling it in the Booking General Settings page.

      1. You need to provide the necessary general data and settings.

        Don't forget to assign a "slug" to the "Page Personalized Access Link" field. A "slug" is a part of a URL that identifies a specific page on a website in an easy-to-read format.

      2. Next, move on to the "Texts" tab and customize the text content to your preferences.
      3. Adjust the colors and images on the page to ensure an appealing and professional appearance.
      4. Once all tabs are filled with the appropriate information, you can preview your booking page by clicking the "Preview Page" option on the Booking General Settings page. 
    Now you have done the essential settings and are ready to operate.
